The vast majority use Photoshop CS2, some CS3 as this has recently been released. A months trial is free, but once expired requires payment if you want to continue to use it. Alternatively, theres a free package called GIMP, how many features this has im not sure about as i have never used it

About an interesting addition to windows aero:
Filling Aero with water sounds like a bad idea...knowing Microsoft, it would just leak...

I'm very new to Photoshop so my outcome isn't as good as it should be.

The tutorial is great! Thanks for posting your setting as screen shot, it really helps the new ppl like myself.

You will get better as you experiment and read some nice tutes so just keep pluggin away at it man. Post your work in the showcase thread for more help and etc....

Since I been using photoshop for about a month I figured I'd give this tutorial another try.
