Hey guys, my computer has AIDS. And 90% of all anti-virus programs suck. Anyone know of a good one I can use? I haven't had one on this pc, so for the last like, two years or something I've probably got more viruses than a prostitute LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone know of anything?

go with the non-popular ones. Their usually just as good, and when people make viruses they make them go around virus scanners that are popular, like avg. the nonpopular ones are the ones that are going to catch them.

McAfee 09.
It's all I use. And Windows Defender that comes standard.

Sign up on the McAfee site and you get the 09 version for free for testing purposes, but you get the whole program.

About an interesting addition to windows aero:
Filling Aero with water sounds like a bad idea...knowing Microsoft, it would just leak...

Thanks UJ, AVG seems to have done the job. I'll check out the other ones if my computer still gives me shit.

No problem man, AVG is pretty cool and catches most things. My own firewall/antivirus software comes bundled with my ISP package and is faultless. I did however have an issue when i formatted my laptop, it wouldnt let me load it up, but now its fine. During this downtime i used AVGfree and found it a very useful piece of software.
