It is easy to follow, but there's not much to it.

i liked it untill you said to flatten image. edit >> copy merged >> paste eliminates the need for flattening your layers and lets you fix them if need be.

He did say to flatten, copy, then unflatten. I agree though, Ctrl+A, Ctrl+Shift+C, Ctrl+V works much better.

C4ds stands for Cinema 4d. Cinema 4d is a program that is used to created different kinds of c4d renders. For the copy thing, you have to create a new layer then go to edit and select copy merged. Under edit menu select paste and it will paste all the layers onto a new layer that you have created.

Short hand or short cuts (press down the buttons together in order for it to work):

New Layer: ctrl + shift + n
Select All: ctrl + a
Deselect: ctrl + d
Copy: ctrl + c
Paste: ctrl + v
Applied Imaged(create new layer first): ctrl + shift + alt + a (that is my setting and probably yours might been different from mine)

Edit: Forgot to mention that you can change the keyboard shorts under the Keyboard shortcut menu that can be found under edit menu.
